If you are unsure about counselling or psychotherapy and would like to discuss it, I am happy for you to call me. It can feel rather daunting taking that first step and sometimes a phonecall can help ease some of the anxiety.
People seek out therapy for a number of reasons. Sometimes life can feel like it is getting on top of you and there can be times when you feel lost, alone and like nobody understands you. You may be wondering what counselling and psychotherapy are or how counselling and psychotherapy can help you?
Counselling and psychotherapy involve talking to a trained professional about your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and no issue is too small or too big to be explored and worked through together in counselling and psychotherapy.
As a therapist, I offer you a time and place that is safe and comfortable, and where you will not be judged. Some of the areas that you may want to explore together could be ways to help you make sense of your difficulties, understanding yourself better, help resolve complicated thoughts, feelings and behaviours, find ways to live with difficult feelings and thoughts and help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act and explore ways to change them (if you want to).
The therapy space and our therapeutic relationship provide an opportunity to face things that may be challenging for you. At times things can seem to big or too scary to explore on your own, this is where counselling can offer the opportunity to face these things with another person. Together, we will work towards achieving what you are looking for.
I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist in a therapy practice located in High Heath, Pelsall near Walsall. The therapy practice can be reached by car or public transport. High Heath, Pelsall is easily accessible from Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas.
